New X-Men: Days of Future Past Trailer Looks Much Better! Plus a new poster!

The new full trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past is here and it’s a much better trailer than the last one. I was getting a little worried that the movie had lost its appeal through the mediocre first trailer and the not-so-exciting Empire magazine covers but this new trailer reinvigorates my excitement for the movie. I’m still cautiously optimistic about Days of Future Past but I’m happy that I’m now looking forward to it. I’m not sure I like the futuristic Sentinels that pop up in the trailer. (I’m assuming they are from the future since director Bryan Singer has already released an image of a Sentinel that looks more like a robot and less like a liquid metal thing.) That being said, there are quite a few shots that I like in this trailer, including one of Iceman riding his ice wave. I’m really hoping that Singer and company pulls this one off. They better, because X-Men: Apocalypse is just on the horizon.

X-Men: Days of Future Past, which arrives in theaters on May 23rd, stars Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Halley Berry, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Daniel Cudmore, Fan Bingbing, Boo Boo Stewart, Adan Canto, Evan Peters, Josh Helman, Lucas Till and Evan Jonigkeit. What do you think of the new trailer? What has you excited for the movie?
