The Trailer and Poster for Ti West’s The Innkeepers!

Ti West is a filmmaker that I keep an eye out for after having seen The House of the Devil.  I thought that film was a really well made slow-burn horror film that showed his talent for creating atmosphere.  He also did a fantastic job with making it feel like an authentic 80s film.  I saw Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever, which he directed as well (though there was some producer intervention when it came to the edit of the film), and I thought that what he was going for was pretty interesting and quite entertaining.  It was definitely not what I expected from a sequel to Cabin Fever, but I liked it.

So now we have the poster and trailer for his new horror film, The Innkeepers.  In keeping with the awesome retro-looking posters from The House of the Devil, this poster design looks pretty sweet and dig the fact that it looks like something you’d find on an old VHS box from the 70s or 80s.  The trailer definitely makes The Innkeepers look like it could be his most commercially viable film but I’m sure that with West behind the camera, we can expect something unique from him.  Below is the trailer and the poster for the film.  If you’d like to see the trailer bigger or in better quality, Apple has the trailer up in quicktime here.
