It’s been confirmed that audience members will want to stay after the end credits of The Avengers as there are apparently not one but two scenes that will be featured in the credits. (SuperHeroHype)

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is developing a remake of Little Shop of Horrors with the intention of starring in it.  Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, a writer from HBO’s Big Love and the playwright of the Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark Broadway show, is on board to write the film. (Hollywood Reporter)

New stills that feature the Lizard from the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man have popped up online. (iTunes Movie Trailers)

Amber Heard is in talks to join the cast of Robert Rodriguez’s Machete Kills.  The sequel already stars Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez and Mel Gibson. (Variety)

Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci have signed a two-year first look production deal with Universal Studios that will have them rebooting both The Mummy and Van Helsing franchises.  Van Helsing currently has Tom Cruise attached to star in and produce the film. (SuperHeroHype)

Brad Bird (Mission: Impossible – Ghost ProtocolThe Incredibles) will direct 1952 for Walt Disney Pictures from a script by Damon Lindelof (Lost) and Jeff Jensen.  The story is heavily under wraps but it is described as a big-scale tentpole film.   (Deadline)

The CW has given early renewals to three of its shows:  Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries and 90210.  (Comingsoon.net)

Sharlto Copley (The A-Team, District 9) has joined the casts of two upcoming films.  One is the remake of Oldboy, which stars Josh Brolin and directed by Spike Lee, of which he is set to play the villain and the other film is Open Graves, a thriller from director Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego (Apollo 18). David James Kelly has been brought aboard by Twentieth Century Fox to rewrite the Daredevil reboot that is set to be directed by David Slade (30 Days of NightHard Candy).  The story will adapt the Frank Miller/David Mazzucchelli storyline Born Again. (SuperHeroHype)

CBS has confirmed that the Star Trek: The Next Generation season 1 blu-ray set will street this year on July 24.  (The Digital Bits)

The new trailer for The Expendables 2 is now online.  The action thriller opens in theaters this summer on August 17th. (IGN)

    I sadly wasn’t too into Machete. Couple key moments and one-liners, but overall idk.
