Marvel.com has released two new photos of Cobie Smulders as S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Maria Hill in Joss Whedon’s The Avengers. Smulders hasn’t had much of a spotlight yet, only being given about two seconds screen time in the new trailer that was released a few days ago (which you can watch here). Now we have some stills showing us Smulders in the S.H.I.E.L.D. uniform. She definitely looks the part but I don’t think we’ll get much of a glimpse into how she’s playing Agent Hill until The Avengers is released. I like Smulders and she’s one of my favorite cast members on the CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother. Hopefully, her role gets her noticed in the film community and she starts getting some more film roles.
